鈥嬧€婽he Building Safety Act 2022 established new legal duties for landlords and building owners of鈥痟igher-risk residential buildings to keep their building safe.
鈥婽here will be an ongoing cost associated with complying with some of these building safety duties, which can be passed to leaseholders through the service charge.
鈥嬧€婽his consultation and call for evidence seeks views on:
- 鈥媡he proposed transparency requirements associated with the ongoing costs of the new building safety regime
- 鈥媡he administrative and operational changes needed to implement the new transparency requirements
- 鈥媡he cost of and time taken to adjust existing systems or to implement new systems to meet the transparency requirements
- 鈥媡he impact of different commencement timings and sequencing鈥�
