On 14 April 2015, Ambassador Ruair铆 O鈥機onnell met the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga.
This morning I presented my credentials to President Jahjaga. I鈥檓 honoured and delighted to return as Ambassador. Last time I was here, I helped Kosovo to build the institutions of a democratic state. I was honoured to witness Kosovo鈥檚 independence. The next three years will hold big challenges but I鈥檓 excited to be working with friends old and new, from communities across Kosovo, to address them together. Today I also met the Prime Minister and other political leaders and I鈥檓 looking forward over the coming weeks and months to meeting and hearing from Kosovo citizens from across Kosovo鈥檚 communities and regions.
