HM Land Registry completed 1,948,692 applications in聽May compared with聽1,953,642 in聽April聽and聽1,828,510 last聽May 2023, of which:聽

• 309,498 were applications for register updates compared with聽299,195 in聽April
• 1,125,121 were applications for an聽official copy of a register compared聽with聽1,128,292 in聽April
• 190,360 were search and hold queries (official searches) compared聽with聽186,959 in聽April
• 82,109 were transactions for value compared聽with聽83,904 in聽April
• 17,795聽were postal applications from non-account holders compared with聽20,425 in聽April
