Details

The measure increases the Blind Person鈥檚 Allowance, Married Couple鈥檚 Allowance and the income limit for the personal allowance for those born before 6 April 1938 by the equivalent of 鈥榠ndexation鈥� (the annual increase to Income Tax Personal Allowances and rate limits) based on the retail prices index rather than the consumer prices index.
