On 27 February 2025, the Office for Environmental Protection (OEP) published .

The government is required to respond to the OEP review under section 29 of the Environment Act.

The OEP鈥檚 review contains 8 recommendations for how implementation of the duty could be improved. We have set out our response to address each recommendation.
