Details
Clostridioides difficile is a leading cause of healthcare-associated infections.
Mandatory surveillance of Clostridioides difficile infections (CDI) began in financial year (FY) 2007 to 2008 with analysis reported routinely as official statistics in the public domain. 聽
As of the 31 December 2024, we report a continuing increasing trend in CDI counts and rates in England, following the rises seen from FY 2021 to 2022.
