In November 2023, the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) ran an open survey (鈥業P and Business Growth鈥�) aimed at businesses of all sizes. The survey aimed to gather insights into the UK鈥檚聽IP-backed finance ecosystem and聽IP聽insurance landscape.聽
The IPO received 83 (validated) responses. Of these, 69 respondents reported they hold a variety of IP. While the survey offers useful insights into the experiences of respondents, it should not be seen as a representative sample of the UK business population. 聽
The responses received from the survey will contribute to the IPO鈥檚 ongoing policy work to better understand聽the UK鈥檚 IP- backed finance ecosystem and IP insurance landscape.
