Step 1

If you are checking if an inhibit signal is set, go to step 2 {#}

If you are not checking the inhibit signal

On the 鈥楩unction Menu鈥�

  • select 鈥楬ousehold鈥� on the toolbar
  • select 鈥榁iew Claim Summary鈥� from the options available. You will be taken to the 鈥楰ey Entry Data鈥� screen
  • enter the customer鈥檚 NINO
  • select 鈥極K鈥�.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Individual鈥� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select 鈥極K鈥�.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Application鈥� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select 鈥極K鈥�.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Award鈥� screen

  • select the appropriate award period
  • select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to the 鈥榁iew Claim Summary - Signals鈥� screen

Note: A tick in the box indicates that the signal is set.

  • make a note of the signals that are set.

On the 鈥楩unction Menu鈥�

  • select 鈥楻enewal鈥� on the toolbar
  • select 鈥楳anage Finalisation鈥� from the options available. You will be taken to the 鈥楰ey Entry Data - Applicant鈥櫬爏creen

Note: When this screen is first displayed, the 鈥楶eriod鈥� checkbox will be automatically populated and should not be changed.

  • enter the customer鈥檚 NINO
  • enter the relevant tax year in the 鈥楶eriod Dates鈥� field
  • select 鈥極K鈥�.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Household鈥� screen

  • select the relevant household
  • select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to the 鈥楳anage Finalisation鈥� screen

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Tax Credit Period鈥� screen

  • select the relevant period
  • select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to the 鈥楳anage Finalisation鈥� screen

If you are taken straight to the 鈥楳anage Finalisation鈥� screen

  • select 鈥楥ontinue. You will be taken to the 鈥楩inalisation Details鈥� screen
  • check the tickbox under Inhibit Finalisation to see if Inhibit signal is set
