TCM1000127 - How to check for Special Needs markers

Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

On the 鈥楩unction Menu鈥�

  • select 鈥楢pplication鈥� on the toolbar
  • select 鈥楥orrection鈥� from the options available. You will be taken to the 鈥楰ey Entry Data - Applicant鈥� screen
  • enter the customer鈥檚 NINO
  • select the relevant checkbox
  • select 鈥極K鈥�.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Individual鈥� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to the 鈥楢pplicant Details鈥� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Application鈥� screen

select the relevant claim

select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to the 鈥楢pplicant Details鈥� screen

go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the 鈥楢pplicant Details鈥� screen. go to Step 2.

On the 鈥楢pplicant Details鈥� screen

  • select 鈥楬ousehold鈥� on the toolbar
  • select 鈥楧etails鈥� from the options available. The 鈥楬ousehold Details鈥� screen will display
  • the following will be shown in the 鈥楽pecial Needs鈥� field, if there is a special needs marker

    • 鈥楤谤补颈濒濒别鈥�
    • 鈥榃别濒蝉丑鈥�
    • 鈥楢耻诲颈辞鈥�
    • 鈥楲arge Print鈥�.

Note: You must not make any changes in the 鈥楬ousehold Details鈥� screen. When you have finished checking for a special needs marker, select 鈥楥ancel鈥�.
