TCM1000188 - How to check if a customer is employed, self-employed or both

Step 1

On the 鈥楩unction Menu鈥�

  • select 鈥楢pplication鈥� on the toolbar
  • select 鈥榁iew鈥� from the options available. You will be taken to the 鈥楰ey Entry Data - Applicant鈥� screen
  • enter the customer鈥檚 NINO
  • select the 鈥楢ll鈥� checkbox
  • select 鈥極K鈥�.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Individual鈥� screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to the 鈥楢pplication Summary鈥� screen

Note: If you are instead taken to the 鈥楽elect Application鈥� screen or the 鈥楽elect Application Version鈥� screen, follow the guidance below for those screens.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Application鈥� screen

  • select the claim with the status of 鈥楢ward Issued鈥�
  • select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to the 鈥楢pplication Summary鈥� screen

Note: If you are instead taken to the 鈥楽elect Application Version鈥� screen, follow the guidance below for that screen.

If you are taken to the 鈥楽elect Application Version鈥� screen

  • select the relevant version of the claim
  • select 鈥極K鈥�. You will be taken to the 鈥楢pplication Summary鈥� screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the 鈥楢pplication Summary鈥� screen, go to Step 2.

On the 鈥楢pplication Summary鈥� screen

  • select 鈥楥ontinue鈥� until you are taken to the 鈥楢pplicant 1 Work鈥� screen

Note: If you need to check whether the customer鈥檚 partner is employed, self-employed or both, select 鈥楥ontinue鈥� and you will be taken to the 鈥楢pplicant 2 Work鈥� screen.

  • any entries in the 鈥楨mployment Details鈥� and 鈥楽elf Employed Details鈥� boxes will tell you whether the customer is employed, self-employed or both.
