TCM1000198 - How to check if the customer receives IS, JSA, ESA or PC
Step 1
On the 鈥楩unction Menu鈥�
- select 鈥楢pplication鈥� on the toolbar
- select 鈥榁iew鈥� from the options available. You鈥檒l be taken to the 鈥楰ey Entry Data鈥� screen
- enter the customer鈥檚 NINO
- select 鈥極K鈥�.
- select the relevant claim
- select 鈥極K鈥�. You鈥檒l be taken to the 鈥楢pplicant Summary鈥� screen
- go to Step 2.
If you鈥檙e taken to the 鈥楽elect Household鈥� screen
If you鈥檙e taken to the 鈥楽elect Application鈥� screen
- select the relevant claim
- select 鈥極K鈥�. You鈥檒l be taken to the 鈥楢pplicant Summary鈥� screen
- go to Step 2.
- select 鈥楥ontinue鈥� until you reach the 鈥業ncome鈥� screen
- check for details of benefits received shown in the 鈥楥TC qualifying benefits鈥� box as
If you鈥檙e taken straight to the 鈥楢pplicant Summary鈥� screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the 鈥楢pplicant Summary鈥� screen
- Income Support (IS)
- Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) and Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) will both display as 鈥楯SA鈥�
- Pension Credit (PC)
Note: If the claim is for a two person household, check both income 1 and income 2 screens for a marker.
If there are any qualifying benefits shown, the customer (or customers) is in receipt of that benefit.
If there aren鈥檛 any qualifying benefits shown, the customer (or customers) isn鈥檛 in receipt of those benefits.
