TCM1000576 - How to In Year Finalise after an appeal has closed
Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu�
- select ‘IY Finalisation� on the toolbar

select ‘Maintain IY Finalisation� from the options available
- you will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select ‘OK�
If you are taken to the ‘Select individual� screen
- select the relevant individual that you need to work

select ‘OK�
- you will be taken to ‘Household Details� screen�
- go to Step 2Ìý
If you are taken to the ‘Select household� screen
- select the relevant household that you need to work

select ‘OK�
- you will be taken to ‘Household Details� screen�
- go to Step 2Ìý
If you are taken straight to the ‘Household Details� screen
- go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Household details� screen
- select ‘continue� until you get to the ‘finalisation details� screen

select ‘Finalise�
- the ‘finalise in year� dialogue box will displayed
- select ‘Appeals� from the ‘Action Authority� field
- select ‘As Agreed� from the ‘Finalise� field
- select ‘OK�
Note: If an error message does not display after you have selected ‘Finalise�, the award will be finalised.
