TCM1000576 - How to In Year Finalise after an appeal has closed

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu�

  • select ‘IY Finalisationâ€� on the toolbar
  • select ‘Maintain IY Finalisationâ€� from the options available

    • you will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select ‘OKâ€�

If you are taken to the ‘Select individual� screen

  • select the relevant individual that you need to work
  • select ‘OKâ€�

    • you will be taken to ‘Household Detailsâ€� screenâ€�
  • go to Step 2Ìý

If you are taken to the ‘Select household� screen

  • select the relevant household that you need to work
  • select ‘OKâ€�

    • you will be taken to ‘Household Detailsâ€� screenâ€�
  • go to Step 2Ìý

If you are taken straight to the ‘Household Details� screen

On the ‘Household details� screen

  • select ‘continueâ€� until you get to the ‘finalisation detailsâ€� screen
  • select ‘Finaliseâ€�

    • the ‘finalise in yearâ€� dialogue box will displayed
  • select ‘Appealsâ€� from the ‘Action Authorityâ€� field
  • select ‘As Agreedâ€� from the ‘Finaliseâ€� field
  • select ‘OKâ€�

Note: If an error message does not display after you have selected ‘Finalise�, the award will be finalised.
