Summary

This traditional term is a synonym of the term 鈥榩rotected designation of origin鈥�, used to describe sparkling wines obtained by first alcoholic fermentation from fresh grapes or must and second alcoholic fermentation from wine suitable for obtaining quality or top-quality wines. Sparkling wines bearing the traditional term 鈥榁rhunsko pjenu拧avo vino鈥� must have an actual alcoholic strength of not less than 10 % vol.
