Abstract

Most people today are familiar with the term 鈥榖lood diamond鈥�; but many more of us buy mobile phones and how many know the term 鈥榖lood mobiles鈥�? Our research will explore the complex network of global mobile phone production. In this briefing note, we trace the key actors in the deadly coltan chain at the root of the global telecoms production network.
