Abstract

The term 鈥榗yber VAWG鈥� is used to capture the different ways that the internet and information and communication technologies exacerbate and magnify acts of violence against women and girls.

This document presents findings from a rapid review of available literature on the nature and prevalence of cyber violence against women and girls. It is accompanied by a parallel query (Q212) on what has worked to help to prevent cyber violence against women and girls, including digital technology-based solutions.
