Retinal treatment and driving
You can be fined up to 拢1,000 if you don鈥檛 tell DVLA about a medical treatment or condition that affects your driving. You may be prosecuted if you鈥檙e involved in an accident as a result.
Car or motorcycle licence
If you鈥檝e had retinal treatment in both eyes, you must tell DVLA.
You can also fill in form V1 and send it to DVLA. The address is on the form.
If you鈥檝e had retinal treatment in one eye, ask your doctor if you鈥檙e not sure if your treatment will affect your driving. If it does, you must report it to DVLA.
Bus, coach or lorry driving licence
You must tell DVLA if you鈥檝e had retinal treatment in one or both eyes. Fill in form V1V and send it to the address on the form.
